The spray-painted sad face in the background of these photos is fitting because I was a little sad myself. Sunday morning, B & I went to Brookline to get bagels from our favorite bagel place, Kupel's. To my dismay, Kupel's was closed (sigh), so I had to settle for a cinnamon crunch bagel from Panera. I know life could be worse, but I get real cranky when I have my heart set on something & end up not getting it. Admittedly, it's not one of my better qualities.
In better news, I recently bought this sleeveless blouse (and a similar black one) from Forever 21. I've been looking everywhere (slight exaggeration) for reasonably-priced sheer blouses & finally found these. They'll definitely be staples in my spring/summer wardrobe.
I love this new blouse... ahhh F21. I love that scarf... :) I know what you mean... I am the same way... I refuse to take no for an answer if there is something I can do about it... I am kind of stubborn. o well.

Love the pastels! Sorry you didn't get your bagel.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way! I am crushed with disappointment when I really want something and I can't have it. Like you said, I know it's a terrible trait, but when I get my mind set, I can't let it go. I'll crave something for days!
ReplyDeleteCute scarf!

ReplyDeleteI love that blouse!!!! I seriously need to get into an F21 soon as I'm also hunting for some sheer blouses for summer.

Mmmm bagels. Love these colors on you, and that scarf is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI HATE it when I get my tastebuds set on one thing and I'm thwarted. It doesn't happen often but I imagine I'm not fun to be around when it does lol. You look so pretty in this outfit. It literally reminds me of a Monet painting.
ReplyDeletei know what you mean when you crave something bad and don't get it that is the worst, and i don't mess around when it comes to food ;)
