Over the weekend, my friend Matt visited from Long Island. He only stayed for a day, so B & I gave him a very quick tour of some of our favorite parts of the city on Sunday afternoon. We walked through the Public Garden and the Common, explored some of the surrounding downtown area, and followed the Freedom Trail through the North End, where we ended up boat-watching at Burrough's Wharf. It was, of course, an incomplete tour, but it was fun. I love showing our visiting friends around Boston, which is really starting to feel like my city.
